Riley von Navarro is a stunning 4 year old black and red, AKC German Shepherd. She was well-loved in her prior home, but unfortunately they had to give her up due to a change in living circumstances. They brought her to Westside wanting the best for her and with only good things to say about her: "Riley is ... house-trained, knows basic commands, is great with children. She has lived with other dogs, including smaller dogs, and does well with them. She loves fetch and swimming and is a very loving, playful dog." At the rescue, she is described as sweet, affectionate and smart.  She understands Sit, Paw, High Five and Up, and can easily lie down with a treat. On walks, she trots along nicely at a good pace, responds well to guidance and comfortably strolls alongside other dogs.  Thus far in playgroups she takes a polite approach, peacefully roaming the yard and minding her own business.  (She does say no to cats however.) Riley is ready to settle in and bring joy to her new family.
